Engineering is a broad field of work in which people (known as engineers) use science and math to design and create things. There are many disciplines of engineering, though they are traditionally categorized under four main branches - Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. However, as technology has advanced, disciplines that were once considered "under" one of the main branches have expanded into their own, such as Aerospace Engineering and Computer Engineering.
